Peter Renn teaches on the Photography, Arts & Media and and Fine Art programmes at Farnham. With a background in commercial photography, working for newspapers and magazines, architects, fashion designers and music publishers, when not teaching he is a practicing photographer and professional printer.
Peter’s practice extends across both art and commercial photography using a wide variety of media. He is particularly interested in experimental camera techniques and alternative/historic printing processes. Recent projects include a book on the forgotten landscape of the Thames Estuary, building the “Behemoth” ultra large format camera and introducing the 1850s process of wet-plate collodion to UCA.
