
Senior Lecturer, Fine Art Moving Image
Conor Kelly is an artist, musician and Fine Art tutor based in London. He has had solo shows at CCA Glasgow, Corner House Manchester, Green On Red Gallery Dublin, Temple Bar Gallery Dublin, Project Arts Centre Dublin, Mercer Union Gallery Toronto, Fordham Gallery London, Peer in London, On Gallery Poznan. He has been in numerous group shows. He works with film video sound photography and text. The character of his gallery-based work is informed by his experience and practice as a musician, composer and sound artist. He formed Bell Helicopter in the early nineties for music and sound projects and has collaborated with and has been commissioned by many artists, filmmakers and theatre directors. His work has been presented at the Venice Biennale, ICA London, Toronto Festival Of Moving Image, Tate Britain, NFT London, E59 Theatre NYC, London Film Festival as well as having works on Channel 4, BBC Radio 3, Resonance FM and has had theatre music commissions at Royal Court Theatre, London, Royal Shakespeare Company Stratford Upon Avon, Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, Abbey Theatre, Dublin.
