Away from the surface driven experience of objects, the work focuses on sculptures’ potential to transform and collapse matter, where changing states show up new connections and possible meanings. The physical journey of things, come to represent a journey of ideas, probing the histories of an object and reaffirming the relationship to a specific site. Engaging with ideas of the Anthropocene and the uncertainty of forms, the work creates a new geology out of the leftovers from a person’s movement through time. The work merges forms into conglomerates from mass production and structures in nature.
